Remarks
The system tracked parameters for the homes' energy efficiency before
and after modification as well as tracking what modifications were made.
This system was implemented at 17 community action agencies throughout
the state. The utility company had a special version of the system so
that all of the agencies' information could be gathered, reported, and
analyzed at a state level.
This was tricky because it was designed and developed at a time before WANs were economically
feasible and well before the internet was available.
Results
Successful implementation throughout the 17 community action agencies
and the utility company itself.
The utility company's executives were impressed that such detail could
be accurately tracked and then integrated across the state. This
assisted them with obtaining future state funding and allowing them to
help more low income families.
