They needed me to assist with preparation for 3rd party audit of the $45 Million infrastructure program. If the audit was not successful, they could have lost program funding and potential future funding.
Remarks
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) mentioned, without me and my knowledge throughout the program and the audit, he was not sure they would have passed and they could have lost nearly $2 Million in funding.
They came out with the highest rating they could based on their own internal processes. They got a 4 out of 5. To get the 5, they would have had to change the way they cost out projects which includes resolving confidentiality concerns that exist.
Results
Net savings the first year was approximately $2 Million.
